Fairy Tales

Fairy Tales

One of the key cornerstones of the fairy tales of European folklore would appear to centre around the idea of some sort of fierce competition between the heroine of the story, and other women of less reputable character, for the heart of the Prince.

When did fairy tales die? And what was the process that led to that death?

We murdered them.

We all murdered them all.

Once the women’s liberation movement brought about modern contraception and sexual freedoms, the Prince simply decided to fuck anything that moves, therefore rendering any sense of competition for his heart a redundant one.

And without any meaningful competition for the heart of the Prince, there are no more fairy tales.
